We hold regular events that you can get involved with to hear about and support the work of our partner, New Generation in Burundi.
Pub Quiz Night | Monday 25 May (7.30pm)
One of our volunteers is hosting a Pub Quiz Night (via Zoom) for us on Monday 25 May at 7.30pm (UK time) as a way to support New Generation at this time. This will be a fun evening with something for everyone, so please do invite your friends and family to join. Please let us know if you’re planning to join the quiz, and we’ll send you the link and password to join the pub (via Zoom).
We’re suggesting a donation of £5 per person to take part in the quiz, but just donate what you can and join us for a fun evening. You can donate through our donation webpage at cafonline.org.
As you know, Street Action is an entirely volunteer run charity so all the money you donate goes straight into the work of New Generation.
As always, we want to say a huge thank you for your continued support. It really does make a difference to the work in Burundi.
Please feel free to share invites to these events with anyone you think may be interested in our work. If you have any questions, or want more information about any of our Zoom events, then you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Stay safe and hopefully we’ll see you online at one of our events.

In conversation with Dieudonné and Kévin|
Monday 18 May (7-8pm)
We held an online gathering, via Zoom, on Monday 18 May where we were joined from New Generation by Dieudonné Nahimana (founder) and Kévin Ndikuriyo (newly appointed National Coordinator). Kévin told us about his new role, the impact COVID19 is having on New Generation’s work with street-connected children and the development of their new site. Dieudonné updated us on his campaign in the presidential election, which was held on 20 May. There will also be a chance for a Q&A.
