Rt Reverend Nick Baines, Bishop of Bradford, hosted the opening night of Street Action’s “Our Streets” photo exhibition at Bradford Cathedral on 3rd October, with the photographers Lizzie Everard and Bex Morton  giving a guided tour around the photographs, the Bishop’s son Andy Baines recounting some experiences working with the children in Durban and Bujumbura as a volunteer, and Tom Hewitt MBE, founder of Umthombo, telling what had happened to the children in Durban since the photographs were taken.  This proved a very engaging way to present the children and the work of Street Action, and hearing directly about the experiences of volunteers in their own words brings to life the work of our partners and the experiences of the kids on the street.

The exhibition continues until October 26th, so drop by the Cathedral if you are in Bradford.
