In September we are aiming to raise at least £30,000 for our partners work in Burundi, Kenya and South Africa by cycling over 300 miles, across six European nations in four days. The events will take place between the 16th and 19th September 2011. Are you a keen cyclist that is looking for a new challenge and wants to make a difference?

The route is from Dover (UK) to Maastricht (Netherlands) through England, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and the Netherlands. The journey will take four days, and we will be stopping at plenty of places of interest on the way.

The cost of the trip is £250 which includes all travel (Eurostar and ferry), accommodation, breakfast and evening meal (drinks excluded) and the cost towards the support vehicle. You will also get a free Six Nations T-shirt!

We hope that at least 30 people will be part of the team. We are asking each cyclist to commit to raise at least £1000 through personal sponsorship. We have decided to raise money for all three of our partners this year. You can choose to raise money specifically for one partner or for all three. A fundraising plan will be available very soon.

Closing date for registration is Friday 17th June.

Full details of the route and programme of preparation will be coming out very soon once we have an idea of numbers. If you're interested, please email cycle@streetaction.org

on 28th Apr 2011.
