Street Action - Committed to street children through action and partnership

Forget about the Tour de France, here is the opportunity to be part of the Street Action London to Brussels Cycle Challenge . You don’t need to be a pro or even be a regular cyclist, you just need a bike and be prepared to raise a bit of dosh for Street Action’s work in Burundi and South Africa. The trip will take you through some beautiful country roads and villages through northern France and Belgium, with plenty of time to enjoy some late summer sun along the way.

Why take part: We ask each participant to target raising at least £1,000 towards Street Action’s work (but even if you don’t reach that figure, anything you do raise will be gratefully received).

Q1 How much does the Cycle Challenge cost?

The estimated coast is £280 per person. This will include ferry over to France, accommodation, Eurostar
return from Brussels with your bike, and the support crew van. We require you to pay a £50 deposit by the 18 June 2010 and completion of full payment by 16 July 2010.

Q2 Who is responsible for
the logistics?

The route, accommodation, food and travel arrangements are organised and booked Street Action. With everything taken care of, all you have to worry about is getting fit for the ride and raising your sponsorship money!

Q3 What is not included?

Travel insurance, transfers to and from the start location and any extra activities you choose to do on the trip.

Fund-raising packs will be available to those who sign up and once you have registered we’ll automatically set up an online sponsorship account through our JustGiving site for you. This enables you to generate sponsorship from people anywhere in the world through just a click of a button.
