Street Action - Committed to street children through action and partnership

Street Action USA has launched its summer appeal. An important part of our investment into our partner’s works is ensuring long-term sustainable funding which will grow according to need and the development of the work on the grassroots. Through encouraging people to give monthly this enables New Generation in Burundi and Umthombo Street Children in South Africa to plan for the future, providing a crucial base of funds to invest in the immediate needs of the project. What change does giving bring?

$10 a month will help our partner New Generation (Burundi) re-unite a child with his or her family or place a child in a foster family to provide care and education.

$20 a month will enable our partner Umthombo Street Children (South Africa) to develop street-based programs that build relationships with children living on the streets and begin the re-integration process back into community or a place of safety.

Monthly giving also allows supporters to give large annual gifts though small monthly payments and to play a crucial part in the development of the long-term support and care and awareness raising of the issue of street children. Our supporters are a key part of Street Action’s work and we are developing ways, through the website, social media and email, to keep you informed of the impact your giving is having and enable you to get involved in other ways.
