It can be easier than you think to change a street child’s life and stop their lives feeling worthless. Give a monthly donation and you can support Street Action’s partners in Burundi and South Africa. Providing monthly support is an effective way to ensure our partner long-term growth and sustainability.

By making a monthly donation to Street Action, you'll be providing the vital ongoing support our partners need to ensure that street children are helped to find an alternative to street life. While the various projects being delivered by New Generation and Umthombo are a crucial part of our partners’ growth, they need ongoing support to continue their work on a daily basis.

An example of the way that monthly giving helps our partners' work is in South Africa. Through the monthly donations already given to us, we are able to support a former street child train to become a social worker. Social workers are a vital component to Umthombo’s therapeutic programmes which provides a stepping stone for street children towards leaving the streets. This year we want to support a second trainee social worker. £40 a month makes a significant contribution to the training.

Here are some other examples of the difference you can make so you can start changing lives today.

• £10 a month = contribute to running costs of New Generation or Umthombo's street based programmes
• £40 a month = house, feed and pay for school equipment for one street child in Burundi
• £40 a month = fund a child to attend a surfing, football or art programme in South Africa

• £500 a month = covers the running costs of a Burundian house where twelve former street children live
