There are various ways that you can support our work, though giving time as a volunteer, organising fund-raising events, or by brokering a relationship with the company you work for, but without regular donations from members of the public our work would simply not be possible.

Street Action’s greatest need is for committed long term support through regular giving – although one-off donations when your circumstances allow are also very welcome. Regular gifts ensure that we can make solid commitments to our partners in the projects in South Africa and Burundi, build on that foundation to capture and disseminate best practices, and grow the capability to support further projects in the future. Just as importantly, you become part of the extended Street Action community, demonstrating solidarity with the people we help.

To work in a professional and sustainable way involves incurring regular costs. Street Action aims that for every pound or dollar we get directly from the public, a pound or dollar goes to the projects in South Africa and Burundi that transform the lives of the street children they support. We can only make this commitment when our operating budget is covered in cash or in kind from all types of supporters, corporate sponsors and donors, suppliers, charitable foundations, generous individuals and government (including Gift Aid) as well as any income we may accrue.
