Street Action is based in the UK but we currently operate in the USA as a virtual organization. Street Action USA was established in 2009 in San Francisco, California. We seek to build a network of supporters, activists, policy makers and practitioners that can connect and engage in the work of Street Action and our partners on the grassroots. The aim is to enable people to understand, learn and promote the issues surrounding street children and projects that support them.

Street Action USA aims to:

  • Build connections and links on behalf of our partners to a number of different constituencies including NGOs and the non-profit sector, universities, faith-based organizations, local and national government sector, corporate and business sector and individuals.
  • Put street children back on the agenda through advocacy and research.
  • To raise awareness of the issue of street children through campaigning, lobbying and media and press work.
  • Encourage US citizens to donate to our partners work.

There are many ways in which you can support Street Action USA. The quickest and most direct way of helping us is to donate now.

You can also join the Street Action Facebook group and you can follow us on Twitter.
